Electric Vehicle: The Urban Development and Housing Department has prepared a draft of Madhya Pradesh Electric Vehicle Policy- 2024. In the draft, a provision has been made for subsidy by the state government on the purchase of various types of electric vehicles such as two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, buses etc.
Along with this, there is also a provision for waiver of various types of taxes on electric vehicles. Efforts are being made to obtain the opinion of various departments on the said draft.
